THE Network Marketing Hangout

...Social Network For MLM'ers

First off - I am NOT asking this question looking for answers - but hoping that new members to the NMH will read this with the same question in mind.

The NMH is here to foster a social environment for network marketers to brainstorm, mastermind, exchange ideas, give encouragement, provide a source of inspiration, be a "water cooler" for mlm chit-chat, and faciliate the development of friendships within the industry.

This forum is not a place for sponsoring, because if we are all just trying to sponsor each other, well, that doesn't allow the above intentions to manifest.

Probably 99% of the members here are already involved and focused on building their respective companies.

The other 1% who may be open are probably sophisticated enough to do their research, read your profiles, read your blog posts, send you a comment or private message and evaluate accordingly.

Blasting your info all over the place, without providing any value or friendship, probably isn't the best way to position yourself as a leader amongst leaders.

Over time, people will go in and out of companies. When they open up their search process, they will likely first turn to friendships within the industry and see who's doing what. THIS is the kind of sponsoring you want to be positioned for...but to do that, you simply develop relationships with your peers without expectation. For it may be YOU that is looking to THEM for a new "home" to join.

Seriously - don't come here expecting that you have found the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow - a network full of networkers that I can sponosor. It won't happen, and you'll likely make a fool of yourself in the process. It's small industry and a small world. Build your reputation over time. I can name several members here who are great successes online because they built their reputation over time, and played the game correctly, by adding value.

So - I'll get off my soap box - but keep this in mind as you network with networkers...not just here, but on any forum.

My best to you all! Thanks for your continued support of the NMH!

-David

Amen to this. I am so sick and tired of going to MLM or network marketing forums and websites and finding a whole bunch of blatant recruitment ads. Offer something of value and people will be much more interested.

Hear hear! Let's change the perception of this industry and use forums like this to become educated, to increase our skills and to share what we've learned. I'm pretty new to MLM but this seems to be an industry where people are taught to sell to anyone who can fog up a mirror... In every other industry, people first work out their target market, then determine how to attract those people. In network marketing, other network marketers are definitely NOT our target market... I'm really passionate about the company and product I represent, so I'm definitely NOT going to be listening to anyone trying to sell me something else. I imagine most other people here feel the same.

Sure enough, you are right. What we need to do here is have ways to connect and get to know each other. Share ideas, resources, etc. that have really made a difference.

I agree with what you are saying. Here's my MLM philosophy

Don't sell.

Don't recruit.

Don't say ONE doggone word to family & friends

Build People. People will build your business.

Knowledge is of priceless value, because by applying knowledge we can make
our future what we will it to be.

What a breath of fresh air!

I love our industry, and we have some of the best people and it's good to make friends and get to know one another, without feeling you have to sell everyone.

If someone has a business, and they are happy with it, they are probably NOT a candidate for yours. If I want a product or a service, I do look to my friends to buy from, so I might be a customer, but definitely NOT a business builder, I have a company I love and I'm doing well.

Still it's great to learn and share ideas. We can all make a difference.

Here is the bottom line!!! If you have the BEST MLM program to offer people, they are open minded enough to compare, you and they both win!!! the key in MLM is the ability to offer people a program that is easily duplicatable and most of all AFFORDABLE! For those who are open minded, simply send me an email here> scubapro48@aol.com OR scubapro48@yahoo.com Good luck to ALL! Tom

Tom,

How can you determine what the BEST MLM program may be for ME?

Although I admire your passion for and your belief in your business, Tom, it may not be a fit for me, no matter how duplicatable and affordable it may be.

In Network Marketing, one size does NOT fit all.

As professional networkers it is our responsibility to take our business seriously and
to treat other networkers, customers, potential new partners with respect and dignity. We do this by listening to their needs and desires and sharing how we can help them get what they want out of life,
if they are open to it and if it is a fit for them.

If not, no sweat, I have just made a new acquaintance or a new friend and my life is richer because of it. I hope theirs is as well.

I am proud to be a Professional Network Marketer and am thrilled to be here with others who have the same desire to learn, excel and have fun along the way!

To your success,

Kelly Wissink

Kelly, I do understand exactly what you are saying and health may not be your priority as it is for me and my family! But, consider these questions as far as other people's priorities when you market ANY product....

1] What is the # 1 thing "Baby Boomers" want besides money?
Answer: Maximum Health! Why? They know that without health, money means nothing! So, why not give them what THEY want at the most economical price possible that truly works?

2] Other types of programs...Question? What impact on their lives will other programs have? Pick any such as travel, affiliate types, Pre-Paid Legal, etc...Something to think about! What I look at for TRUE RESIDUAL INCOME is IMPACT on people so they will continue to take my full health regimen! First, it has to be consumable for real residual income! Second is the impact this product has on their lives! If they FEEL the difference daily, they will stay on it and that is why we have over a 99% customer retention rate which is AWESOME!

3] Other benefits to GBG Health and Wellness! Due to our Comp Plan setup with a 2 X 10 matrix, spillover is a given! Look at other program's comp plans and MOST ALL of them do not have this feature! It is truly about helping others to succeed and due to the spillover feature, people I bring in will get paid on MANY people who they did NOT bring in!

***Bottom line is this! You are correct about being passionate about your product, but you should also consider what people want and need today! With health issues at an ALL TIME HIGH due to the lack of nutrients in ALL the food we consume, simply look around you and see how many people are sick and tired most all the time! Did you know that the incidence of cancer is NOW 1 in 2 people will get it IF they don't take supplements that WORK? 50 years ago, only 1 in 10 people would get cancer!!! Food for thought!
